Wednesday, September 9 is Kick Cancer’s Butt Day!
Did you know that every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer? Or that every week 38 kids that should have had a bright and full future ahead of them die from this horrible disease? It’s heartbreaking. And it’s time we all do something to help.
Join us live at Back Channel Brewing or virtually on September 9th, 2020 to show your support and help Team WC^4* and Back Channel Brewing raise money and awareness for the Children’s Cancer Research Fund.
Our mission is to take action together to raise funds to support ALL kids fighting cancer to show them and their families that they are not alone in their fight to beat this terrible disease.
Nationally a group of wonderful supporters will MATCH ALL DONATIONS received on Wednesday, to the value of $1,200,000. Locally we can do our part to make a dent in this goal.
*Team WC^4 is a team of friends that organized in 2015 to support their friend Jay and his family while his son Charlie battled cancer. In 2019 they raised $10,169 and ranked 24th in the United States among all of the Great Cycling Teams riding 1,982 miles. Since their conception, the team has raised over $25,000 to support Children’s Cancer Research Fund.
