The first Hygge Hoopla featured 19 MN craft brewery staff discussing everything from brewing history and local ingredients to their favorite beers in the state. We, and our 300+ viewers, had such a good time that we’ve decided to do it again!

On May 15, Hygge Hoopla 2 will bring more MN craft brewery founders, owners, and brewers to your living room (or patio, backyard, balcony, or rooftop)! Celebrate American Craft Beer Week with Minnesota breweries and Minnesota craft beer fans!

Leaders from 19 Minnesota craft breweries will explore multiple craft beer styles and take questions from the audience during this live-streamed fest. Sample along and learn more about the beer you’re enjoying!

Minnesota Craft Brewer's Guild

Minnesota has a long, diverse history in the brewing industry. At one time, it boasted over 100 small breweries that serviced their local communities. Although the numbers have dwindled, a number of craft breweries have sprung up once again serving fresh, locally produced beer. The Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild was founded in 2000 to promote Minnesota breweries, create an open line of communication between brewers, and showcase local craft beer at our events throughout the year. • In our opinion, the best beer is the freshest beer you can buy, and locally produced beer will always be freshest. • The Guild promotes Minnesota’s brewing industry by sponsoring festivals and special events that showcase the talent of our brewers. • We strive to educate the public that consuming beer is a pleasure that should be enjoyed in moderation. • Finally, it is our mission to ensure that our rich brewing tradition will be carried on for future generations to enjoy. Whether you are a native Minnesotan, a new Minnesotan, or are simply enjoying everything our beautiful state has to offer, we invite you to stop by one of our craft-breweries and enjoy a fresh pint of locally produced beer.
