We are releasing cans of our very first IPL: Experimental India Pale Lager!
Hopped with Citra, Amarillo & Exp. #07270 and Dry Hopped with Rakau & Exp. #07270, this Experimental India Pale Lager starts off with slight malt & tropical aromas, is followed by a short but sweet burst of apricot, mango, tangerine & citrus zest, and finishes with a very strong, lingering dankness that’s paired with flavors of lemongrass & pine.
All IPLs are very different, have a wide range of flavors, levels of bitterness, and end goals… just like IPA’s! As a whole, the result of fermenting with lager yeast rather than ale yeast in IPLs generally combine a crisp lager finish with amplified hops.
