Pints For Pine: Pine City Summer Rec

Join us for our monthly Pints for Pine fundraiser where we donate $1 for every glass of beer sold to a local non profit organization or group. Additional donations are also accepted.

The Pine City Athletic Association (also known as Pine City Summer Rec) provides FREE summer activities for over 300 children annually. Pine City area kids can participate in baseball, softball, tennis, golf, and track, depending on age level. With the support of the program leaders and coaches, kids are able to learn and participate in a multitude of different sports while staying active, learning fundamentals, making friends and having fun.

Established in 1953, they have long, proud history of offering free programming to kids in the Pine City area. Every child who has the desire to come out and play is allowed to keep doing so with NO COST to their family. This is only possible because of the hard work of a lot of people connected with the program. There are many expenses connected with running the Summer Recreation Program and they solely rely on funding from fundraising events and the support of local businesses. The major expenses covered are for the salary of our employees, insurance and the cost of equipment, as well as the t-shirts for the participants.
