Policy in a Pint: Superior Gas Plant

Join Sierra Club’s Duluth Clean Energy Team to learn more about the Proposed Gas Plant in Superior, Wisconsin that would be partially owned by Minnesota Power. We will discuss climate impacts and cost of fracking and natural gas, green energy alternatives, and how we can unite as a community to stop this gas plant and move our local utilities towards a clean energy future. Snacks will be provided with drinks available for purchase.
Please also join us for the October 18th meeting of Minnesota Public Utilities Commission at 9:30 am at Duluth City Hall. The PUC will announce their decision on the proposed gas plant at this time.
