Science and a Pint: Repeal the Dickey Amendment at Tin Whiskers Brewing

Are you going to the March For Our Lives Minnesota State Capitol on the 24th? Do you care about evidence-based policy on gun safety, not to mention other issues? Today, the Dickey Amendment effectively prevents federal spending on research into gun safety. The result: there is very little research on what actually works. If we are to keep our kids and loved ones safe, we need laws that are based on data, not talking points.

After the march, come to Tin Whiskers Brewing Co. in St Paul, just a 15 minute walk from the State Capitol. Raise a glass and write to lawmakers to repeal the DIckey Amendment. While your at it, we’ll also be taking pictures: why do YOU Rally for Science?
