Sweet 16 Taps: A Taproom Upgrade Party

6 tap lines. That’s a whole lot of fresh, new beer. We spent the last few weeks of summer doubling the amount of beers we offer on tap, and now we think it’s time to celebrate that achievement.

On Saturday, September 29th we’re throwing a Sweet 16 party to commemorate this taproom upgrade with special beer releases, tasty food, and live music! Sweet 16 party attire is encouraged (if you aim for high school prom, you’re pretty much nailing it) and we’ll have our robot photo station set up so you can capture the memories with our beloved mascot. Check out the schedule below.

Schedule of Events:
Noon: Doors open with 16 beers on tap, including special releases like Arnold Palmer Parity Pilsner, Mimosa Brut IPA, and Knob Creek Barrel Aged Porter, as well as fan favorites like Irish Cream Stout.
Noon-5pm: Sweet 16 Beer Tournament. We’ll have a bracket ready and the best selling beers each hour will move on to the next round. We’ll celebrate the winner from 4-5pm by offering pints of the champion for just $3.
2pm: Free Monthly Brewery Tour (RSVP at https://store.twbrewing.com/free-monthly-brewery-tour-saturday-september-29th-2pm/)
5pm: El Tapatio, the food truck from La Familia Tapatia restaurant will pull up to the taproom to serve their outstanding tacos.
6pm: Bottle-only release of DekaWatt, our Watts Wheat Wine aged in a bourbon barrel made in collaboration with Top Ten Liquors.
7-9pm: Martin Devaney, the unofficial mayor of Saint Paul, will be performing in the taproom!
9-11pm: Close out the taproom with DJ Pandora randomly selecting your favorite high school dance jams.

On top of that, we’ll have special secret cask releases sprinkled throughout the day, so make sure you keep an eye on our social media day-of for updates. We’re also holding a merchandise clearance sale, marking your last chance to get some of our t-shirts and hoodies before we retire them for new items.
