Event Details

On Thursday, August 9th, Three Twenty Brewing Co will donate one dollar for every glass of beer sold to Pine EMS First Responders as a part of our monthly Pints for Pine non profit fundraising event. Additional donations are also accepted.

Pine EMS First Responders is a non-profit organization who serves the citizens and businesses in the Pine City area and surrounding communities. Their purpose is to assist and enhance the ambulance service.

The purpose of the first responder is not to transport a patient to the hospital, but rather to provide medical care until the ambulance arrives. This is especially important in rural communities where residents are further from hospitals.

The members of the non-profit volunteer organization work cooperatively with the local ambulance service to provide immediate care in the life-or-death moments just after a health crisis takes place.

The group averages about 300-400 calls per year and the group is all volunteer!

In a region the size of Pine County, regular ambulance service might be far away when it is needed – and those are the moments when a service like Pine EMS First Responders can save lives. The goal is to get medical assistance to people early, during the short span of time before a health problem turns into a life-threatening condition.

We respond to calls with the ambulance and help out the ambulance personnel, if they need an extra hand. Sometimes, we can get there before the ambulance can.
