Urban Growler's PhilanthroBrew: International Women's Day

March 8th is International Women’ s Day! Celebrate by drinking a beer at a women-owned brewery and you will drink for a cause! We love brewing beer and giving back to our community. Stop in for a beer or two and we will donate $1 of each flagship beer sold between 11:30-3:30p to Family Tree Clinic co-hosted by Mixed Blood Theatre Company.

Family Tree Clinic: Founded in 1971, Family Tree Clinic’s mission is to cultivate a healthy community through comprehensive sexual health care and education. Family Tree also operates Minnesota’s Family Planning and STD Hotline and provides comprehensive sex education to over 12,000 youth and parents every year.

Mixed Blood Theatre Company: Using theater to illustrate and animate, Mixed Blood changes attitudes, behavior, and policy by paying positive attention to difference. The company’s predictably unpredictable work addresses injustices, inequities, and cultural collisions, providing a voice for the unheard—on stage, in the workplace, in the company’s own Cedar Riverside neighborhood, and beyond.
