This Saturday, we release another super-fruited barrel-aged sour called Fragaria Hibiscus.
This sour uses our base Pilsner malt and flaked oats along with our house wild yeast culture. It spent close to 18-months in red wine barrels and after it developed the right funk, we moved it to our blending tank were we added 500lbs of strawberries and 30lbs of hibiscus flowers letting it referment over the course of 2 additional months.
Fragaria Hibiscus will go on sale this Saturday (6/16) at 12pm for $20 per bottle. Forgotten Barrel Society members can get in early to buy bottles starting at 11:30am. Approximately 280 750ml bottles will be available, limit 2 (subject to change depending on length of line). We are expecting lines like the Frambroise release so get here early if you want a bottle.
