It’s officially stout season and we’re celebrating with an exclusive bottle release party! Two years in the making and we’re finally ready to release our two barrel aged imperial stouts in collaboration with Barrel Theory.

🍺 The Stout Story: In May of 2021, Barrel Theory joined our head brewer, Andy to brew a big rich imperial stout. We then placed this into barrels in June of 2021 to create two variations of these barrel aged stouts:
Caribbean Twilight 13.5% ABV – The beer starts off with a menagerie of the darkest, richest malts and barley that we could get our hands on, plus a trio of sugars and malted oats to add some pillowy softness to something so big. After the boil, the beer made its way to the barrels that recently held coconut rum (that previously held bourbon) and rested for 18 months. Because our Head Brewer, Andy G, is also a trained chef and knows how to precisely bring out the best flavor of every ingredient, he personally toasted 65 pounds of coconut, roasted the cashews and picked out 60 vanilla beans that the beer was then conditioned on.
Bake Sale 13.5% ABV – aged for 18 months in Old Forester bourbon barrels, we conditioned this stout on two sheet trays of triple chocolate salted caramel fudge brownies and Madagascar vanilla.
