Sexual Violence Center Tabling + Supply Drive

Our April Cooperates partner is Sexual Violence Center, and we’ll be hosting them in the taproom for tabling and a supply drive this month!

The Sexual Violence Center provides respectful, confidential services to victim/survivors and their friends and families free of charge. Some of their services include one on one counseling, support groups, 24-hour crisis line, 24-hour medical advocacy, and legal advocacy.

Their staff will be tabling in the taproom on April 23 from 5-8pm.

They’ll also be running a supply drive in the taproom for items for advocates to bring to victim-survivors who are in the hospital reporting a sexual assault. Below are the items they need, which you can drop off in the taproom in the marked box anytime up until April 30.

-Tote bags (can be used/have logos, as long as they’re appropriate)
-Bottles of water
-Individual size packages of crackers/snacks (cheese crackers, trail mix, Chex mix, granola bars, etc)
-Fidgets or other distraction type toys
-Underwear for all genders
-Sweats/T-shirts (in the event that folks need to turn in their clothing for evidence)
