Who’s ready for some friendly competition!?
It’s time for 2018’s Fulton Pintwood Derby!
Here’s what you need to know:
$20 will get you your entry fee, pinewood derby car kit, and first beer. It is a double-elimination tournament limited to 64 entries.
Car kits will go on sale at 3pm February 9th at the Fulton Taproom, and be sold while supplies last.
Race day will be held on Sunday, March 11th. Registration for participants begins at Noon, with races beginning at 2pm.
6 Rules:
- Car can weigh no more than 5oz.
- Car can be no longer than 7 inches.
- Cars width can not exceed 2 3/4 inches.
- Wheels may not be modified. Removing burs on plastic cast and axle is recommended.
- Graphite is the only substance allowed for lubrication. No oils on axle or wheel.
- Once cars are weighed they will be untouched on display till it’s the cars time to compete.
