Be A Boarder with Boards and Beers

Be a Boarder is a partnership of skaters and skate lovers. We believe that skateboarding has the ability to empower and transform participants through healthy activity, confidence building, creativity, and engagement. To this end, we collect and distribute new and used skateboards, safety gear, and provide instruction. Be a Boarder is a Minneapolis based 501(c)(3) non profit organization.

This is a fundraising event for Be A Boarder. 612 Brew will donate $1 per pint sold to Be a Boarder. Bring your friends!

Co-Hosting this event is Mark Rivard the creator of “Do Rad Things” and “Boards and Beers.” Rivard will be leading a skateboard art class and bringing his unique art-based experience to the taproom for this great cause.
Registration is $75/Person and includes the following:
– Skateboard (Deck Only), 7 Ply Canadian Maple Skateboard with a Natural Finish.
– 1 Sharpie Fine Point Permanent Markers 12 pack.
– 3 Custom Skateboard Art Drawing Templates.
– 2 Hour Seminar and Instruction with Mark Rivard.
– 1 Pint of 612Brew
– Donation to Be A Boarder to support our kids and community.
** This is a family friendly event. If your child would also like to participate, Mark will donate an additional board to your registration.
