Black Friday at Surly Brewing

Surly’s Black Friday offerings are less of the “brawl over a $5 microwave at the crack of dawn with someone’s aunt” variety and more about cracking open the vault for Surly Nation, in the form of vintage bottles and merch.

Every hour on the hour, we’ll be releasing rare beers and the tees that go with them. Once the hour is up, it’s on to the next one. Here’s the schedule to plan your Surly visit accordingly (as per usual and as per state law, the bottles must be consumed onsite, but you can bring the empty home):

11:00am: ‘07 Darkness

12:00pm: ’09 Darkness

1:00pm: ’10 Darkness

2:00pm: ’11 Darkness

3:00pm: ’12 Darkness

4:00pm: ’13 Darkness

5:00pm: Four

6:00pm: Five

7:00pm: Six

8:00pm: Seviin

We’ll also have the Draft Cart set up, pouring Two, Three, BA Darkness 2015, and BA Darkness 2016 throughout the day. Head Brewer Ben Smith and his crew will be pouring from 4-7 pm.

Rumor has it that we might have uncovered a cache of Darkness variant bottles from this year’s Darkness Day (Tattersall fernet, rum-barrel aged coconut, bourbon-barrel aged cherry vanilla). If you’re into that sort of thing.

In addition, Friday is the day that Toys for Tots launches their annual toy drive, and Surly is a designated dropoff point. If you survive the mall in the morning, grab a toy while you’re there to contribute to the cause.
