TEAGUE ALEXY
Award-winning Duluth-based musician, author and storyteller Teague Alexy is probably best known for his Americana songwriting in the national touring brothers duo Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank. Teague’s songwriting is clearly influenced by his home in Minnesota, his childhood in New Jersey, and life as a travelling musical hobo. Teague’s storytelling has deeper roots to his Irish ancestry. A ‘Teague’ in ancient Ireland was a travelling storytelling poet.
BASEMENT TAPES BAND
The Basement Tapes Band plays classic songs from Bob Dylan and The Band’s Basement Tape sessions. The Basement Tapes Band is comprised of Duluth area musicians Marc Gartman (Two Many Banjos, Coyote), Teague Alexy (Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank), Sarah Krueger, Lee Martin (Feeding LeRoy), Veikko LePisto (Woodblind) and Tyler Dubla.
