Event Details
Join us and get poked on the patio from 4-7pm! We’ll have Schell’s Bock on tap with representatives from the brewery poking your beer on the patio.
How it works:
1. Order a Bock from your server/bartender
2. Drink half of your Bock
3. Go outside to our Patio and get poked by a representative from Schell’s
4. They’ll plunge a red-hot poker into the beer, swirl and remove it
5. Enjoy!

What does beer poking do?
The poker flash heats and instantly caramelizes the residual malt sugars abundant in certain types of beer. It adds depth of flavor, caramelizing the malt and imparting a smoky character while giving the beer a creamy mouthfeel. It’s popular with Bock-styles, along with other dark beers (porters, stouts, etc). It’s definitely something to try if you haven’t!
