But why the goat, you ask? Because the first bock beers were brewed in the 14th century by German brewers in the town of Einbeck, and, due to their Bavarian accent, citizens of Munich pronounced “Einbeck” as “ein Bock,” or “a billy goat.”
We’ll have a limited supply of Bockfest 2022 commemorative mugs displaying this year’s “ein Bock” available for purchase. Perfect for making your bock rock with a poke!
