Boom Island Quad Release

Ask and ye shall receive. Introducing the much-anticipated release of our traditional Quad on Friday, September 21st.

Our Quadrupel is based on centuries old Trappist traditions in Belgium. Belgian Trappist yeast. Belgian grains, including Belgian double-roasted caramel malts. And as always, Farmhouse style of brewing. Malty, dark and as mysterious as a Belgian monastery, our Quad has hues of reddish brown with a hint of sweetness that belies its 10.2% ABV.

Our customers have been imploring us to make a traditional Quad from the beginning. Sure, it took us over 7 years to comply, but hell yeah, um, heck yeah, it’s worth the wait! We based our Quad off the definitive Trappist example, brewed for centuries about 10 miles south of Antwerp.

In 750ml bottles and pours starting at 4pm on 9/21. Look for single 11.2 oz bottles only available at our best retail partners soon to follow. Get an extra bottle or two, cellar them, and bust them out on a special occasion!
