Surly has long been a cultivator of creators, doers, and makers, so it only makes sense that we would celebrate the creators, doers, and makers in our community on our turf. December 2nd, 2018, brings Surly’s inaugural Brewers & Doers Holiday Bazaar to 520 Malcolm. This Surly-wide event brings a ridiculous variety of local artisans, curators, makers, and activities together at the Destination Brewery. Spread from the Beer Garden to Scheid Hall, guests will be able to have their tarot cards read, smoke hand-rolled cigars made just for them, shop for anything from jewelry to home décor to locally-sourced vintage ware, and experience the Minnesota Krampus Society Krampus Parade, all while listening to some of the Twin Cities’ favorite vinyl DJs both inside and out.
In the true spirit of giving, Surly Gives A Damn will be onsite running a sock drive to benefit Hennepin County Health and Human Services.
How do I sign up to be a vendor for this event? I make cigar humidors and wood decorative items, I am an approved vendor with Twin Cities craft fairs. Please let me know. Thanks.
That event was back in 2018. Not sure if they’ll do it again this year. You’d want to reach out to the organizers.
