Cancer Benefit for Jamie Rumpza Albertson at 612Brew

Please join us for a super fun event, benefiting Jamie Rumpza Albertson and her fight against breast cancer! Jamie was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer in May, after already battling stage one, five years ago. She has spent her adult life as a public school teacher, advocating for disadvantaged youth and the need for Art in education. She is one of the very special people who can reach even the toughest kids who have completely shut down and given up. She is rare, she is special, and we need her. She also has two kind, intelligent, hilarious little girls ages 10 and 7, of her own and would like to stick around to hold their hands while they navigate their bright futures.
Our friends at 612 Brew were kind enough to donate their space to us and our friends Chelsea and Greg are donating their Kabomelette food truck, with all proceeds going to Jamie. There will be a silent auction with items such as: sports tickets, restaurant gift cards, travel accommodations, beauty products, gift baskets, art and a guitar signed by Kid Rock if ya wanna be a cowboy ba-beeee!! Sorry… Sorry about that. The silent auction will be from 2:00 to 5:30. We will also be playing Bingo and Trivia so bring your game face! Also, beer. Did I mention beer? There will be beer. Don’t like beer? There is a wine raffle! Don’t like wine? … They probably have a drinking fountain.
We are so grateful for everyone who pulled together to make this event happen. It makes me tear up just typing the words. We are in awe of your love and support for our family. We are so touched, you guys. Truly.
