Event Details

Last June, while folks from Jester King were in town, we collaborated on a tart saison. It is 1,170 miles (give or take) on I-35 from Minneapolis to Austin. This stretch of road plays a central role in the genesis of Fair State, and the name of this beer is a nod to the importance of personal histories, even for relatively young companies like us. Brewed using MN malted barley, wheat, and flaked oats, spruce tips foraged from MN, and rosemary collected from the Jester King property to infuse this beer with a sense of place and purpose.

This is a very limited beer. We will have 300 bottles in the taproom, including 100 for member reservations.

Bottles will be for sale Saturday 11/10 at noon in our taproom, with a two bottle limit per person.

In the event that there is a line, grab a pastry from Aki’s BreadHaus – German Style Baking, coffee from Anelace Coffee or something from Eastside Food Co-op to enjoy while you are waiting.

Fair State Cooperative members who reserved bottles get first access to this limited release beer. Reserved bottles are available 4pm Thursday 11/8 will be held until 10pm Saturday 11/10. After that, they will be released to the general public for sale in the taproom on Sunday.
