Duluth based singer-songwriter Gavin St. Clair writes nostalgic acoustic love songs with elements of Americana and pop mixed in. His trio features Alex Piazza on bass and Owen Mahon on drums. St. Clairβs Goodbye EP was released in 2020 and a new EP is in the works for early 2022.
Abe Curran and some form of backing band have been an on-and-off fixture of the Duluth music scene since 2010. Bassist Eric Bong and drummer Pat Bowen have been with Curran for most of the ride, while keyboardist Nathan Olson is a new addition. A few scattered demos have circulated over the years, but the first Abe Curran album, a self-titled collection of eclectic, steady-grooving rock tracks, was released in January.
From the mind of Israel Malachi: a mixture of old blues standards and original music. Over a long history of performing in the Twin Ports, Malachi has collaborated with a wide breadth of different artists, bringing smooth vocals and a precise guitar-picking style to every conceivable (and inconceivable) music genre. Israel Malachi Orchestra consists of Jack Seiler on drums, Eric Bong playing bass, and Malachi on vocals and guitar. They have been playing together for the past six years.
