HWMR Presents: Wiesn in a Box A Traveling Oktoberfest Experience

Do you love beer? How about interacting with different cultures? If so, this event is for you. Best of all, it is totally FREE!

HWMR has teamed up with Goethe-Institut Washington to bring “WIESN IN A BOX” to North Minneapolis.

The Goethe-Institut Washington and Wunderbar Together, in cooperation and collaboration with Hofbräu USA, present “WIESN IN A BOX”.
Three attractively designed trailers will stop at various venues across the US throughout the course of one year to stage unique Oktoberfest events.
Each trailer is furnished with an oven for baking pretzels and a two keg draft beer system serving Hofbräu beer. The project is financed with funds from “Wunderbar Together” – Year of German-American friendship 2018/2019, a project financed by the German Federal Foreign Office, the Federation of German Industries (BDI), and implemented by the Goethe-Institut with the goal of enhancing the cultural dialogue between Germany and the United States.

For the duration of one year between October 2018 and December 2019, the Year of German-American Friendship is traveling across the country, organizing events and exhibits revolving around business and industry, politics, education, culture, and science under the motto “Wunderbar Together”. The comprehensive and collaborative campaign from the Federal Foreign Office and the Goethe-Institut with support from the Federation of German ndustries (BDI) is seeking to convey a multifaceted, modern image of Germany to showcase how closely the country is linked to the US through heritage, common values, and shared interests.
