Join us for a flight night focused on all things OAK.

The good people at Squarrel Square Barrel Company provided us with four of their squarrels for aging our beer. These innovative square barrels use less wood and age beer faster than traditional barrels.

For this flight night we’ve combined our B-Side Pils infused with lemongrass and ginger along with four different squarrels made with oak spanning the globe.

Each flight includes 4 oz pours of our B-Side infusion that has aged in:

American Oak
Roasted Coffee, campfire, fruit jam
Sweeter, stronger, creamy, more obvious oak flavor
Strongest of all the oaks

French Oak
Cinnamon, allspice, creme brulee, milk chocolate
More complex with subtle, silky, satin-like texture, more tannin
Wood harvested from trees at least 200 years old

Hungarian Oak
Toasted bread, nutmeg, leather, black pepper, bittersweet chocolate
Rich and full mouthfeel
Less perfumed

Mongolian Oak
Cinnamon, dark chocolate, espresso, vanilla, nutmeg
More earthy and complex
Used often to age Japanese whiskey
