Our Wooden Soul program encompasses a stunning array of unique styles of beer, produced by the dynamic relationships between natural microorganisms when left to their own devices. Join us in the taproom for this unique flight night featuring four rare Wooden Soul beers side-by-side sure to tickle your palate and awaken your taste buds. Flights are $18 and available in limited quantities while supplies last!
–Wooden Soul: Manhattan Cherry Dust–
We took our sour red ale and aged it on 44 lbs of tart cherries per barrel and let them mingle with wild yeasts and bacteria. After one and half years of aging in these barrels, we then laid it in rye whiskey barrels for another year to mimic the flavors of a cocktail we all know and love—the Manhattan.
–Wooden Soul: Pinot Heartbreak–
Our classic wood barrel-aged sour red ale is refermented on Pinot Noir grapes to bring you this elegant and balanced beer. Showcasing a complexity of grape flavors, notes of raspberry, cherry, and blackberry assemble on the palate. This silky, ruby red beauty has been aging for three years, slowly developing a graceful depth that mirrors the classic boldness of Pinot Noir.
–Wooden Soul: Brûlée–
Inspired by the unique flavor profile of Brûlée, we worked with our friends at Icehouse to create a palatable marriage between hand-torched burnt sugar and citrus and our dry, funky saison. Our latest Wooden Soul collaboration is aged in wooden barrels and refermented with freshly zested oranges, grapefruits, lemons, along with lemon verbena and burnt sugar. With a light golden orange haze, Brûlée reels you in with a sweet orange taffy aroma. Unique and juicy, expect notes of fruity and bitter citrus rounded out by a delicate caramel aroma. Brûlée away!
–Wooden Soul: Liliko’i–
Say aloha to Lilikoʼi, a wood barrel-aged passion fruit wild ale. Luau ready with notes of tropical fruit and citrus, Lilikoʼi pours a sunset golden orange.
