Infierno De Mayo Beer Release

We are two Minneapolis breweries planning to release our first ever collaboration beer, together, on May 3rd. Both Finnegans and La Doña Cervecería have yet to partner with another brewery, having been contract brewed brands until only the past year or so, and we are planning festive weekends at our respective taprooms to celebrate the occasion.

The Beer:
Infierno de Mayo – A Helles lager brewed with Simcoe, Mandarina Bavaria, and Azacca hops. Inspired by Spring and the Summer weather right around the corner, the beers will have a striking yellow/strawlike color, notes of grass and citrus fruit flavors and can be garnished with a lime. But we’re saying beers, plural, because there’s a twist. The brewers have chosen to lager their respective beers with different yeast strains which will result in different ABVs and other yummy to-be-determined characteristics!

The Experience:
Visit BOTH our taprooms to buy a pint or 2, enjoy the festivities, and then take home a 750ml crowler so you can compare the two side-by-side another day while crushing fresh homemade tacos. I mean, that’s what we’re going to do, but you’re the customer so do whatever the Helles you want.
