Once again it’s time to celebrate the new year with hot poking our Eisbock!
This age-old tradition during the winter months is always a blast.
But why do we do it? Well, the heated-up metal acts to caramelize the residual sugars left in the beer, and as these flavors interact you get some delicious, unique, malty characteristics that you can’t get any other way. Plus – it’s fun to sit on the patio around a fire and do a little day drinking!
We’ll be hanging out starting at 11am – 5pm (maybe a little later if there’s still beer to be poked) so come and enjoy this Northbound winter tradition!
