Oktoberfest - Insight Brewing Style

On October 12th we’re throwing an Oktoberfest shindig from open to close. So get ready to squeeze into your lederhosen and have a good time! Here’s what’s happening:

Get a Limited Oktoberfest Stein:
We’ve only got 48 and they’re $15 each. What do you get for $15? Glad you maybe asked. You’ll get an Insight branded liter stein, a free fill of beer (one liter or over 33oz), and the chance to win our stein-holding competition (more about that below).

Enjoy Oktoberfest Beer:
What kind of Oktoberfest would it be without a Marzen? We’ll be serving up ours and it isn’t to be missed. The all-German malt bill that adds deep flavors of caramel and toasted bread while Hallertau hops add the right amount of balance, delivering a crisp, clean, and very drinkable brew that is perfect for celebrating all things (and stuff). 6% ABV.

In addition to our Marzen, we’re serving up a refreshing and satisfyingly sour Berliner Weisse. Details coming soon.

Eat Authentic German Food:
the Black Forest Inn will be serving authentic German eats all day and into the evening.

Play Fun Beer Drinking Games:
We’ve got two. The first is Hammerschlagen. It’s fun and if you win you’ll get an ‘I got nailed’ sticker to show to your friends. (Maybe it’ll be a conversation starter you can use to make new friends. )

The second game is a beer-stein-holding contest at 4pm. Put those cross fit muscles to work. If you win, not only will have bragging rights, you’ll take home a $20 gift card to boot. (To enter, you’ll have to have purchased one of our steins.)
