Summit is sponsoring and we’ll be cooking up a ton of sausages for our first ever Oktoberfest! Plus, some of the best tribute bands in town!
MILITZËR – The Krautrock project based in Minneapolis will be performing music from German experimental rock band CAN!
KRAFTJERK- Playing Kraftwerk done by synthgroup OMIEM
TROMPE LE MONDE- is a Minneapolis-based Pixies tribute band featuring members from local bands The Heavy Sixers, The Harrys, and High on Stress. Playing Pixies favorites from Surfer Rosa, Doolittle, Bossanova and more. The quiet/loud dynamic style of these Pixies classics has been imitated and influential in defining the alternative rock sound and Trompe Le Monde celebrates the band as huge Pixies fans themselves.
THE MCENRAMONES – On the court they sport leather and on stage they rock the Ramones as legendary tennis stars. You will be overjoyed with fun as they count in Love, 15, 30 40 and slam into the hard hitting punk guitar of Ramones classics such as Beat On The Brat, Serena is Punk Rocker, Rockaway Beach and many more. “You can’t be serious…”
SAY IT AIN’T FUAX- A wild and crazy tribute to Weezer! Playing all the weezer songs you love and the ones you forgot you love!
THE SNOTTY ROTTENS- blasting the choons of the Sex Pistols, from the singles to the outtakes, from songs they covered to a few surprises.
