People Power Pils Release with Bent Paddle and Fair State Co-op

Fair State Brewing Co-op and Bent Paddle have partnered up to create People Power Pils. This is a crisp pils made with Lemon drop Hops and Weyermann Pilsner Malt. What is so special about this beer? Bent Paddle and Fair State are making the same beer, using this as an opporunity to highlight our unique water sources (City of MPLS and Lake Superior). Stop by the Happy Gnome, try both versions of the beer and raise some money for the ACLU. Brewers from both breweries will be present for the festivities.

About the People Power Beer:
For almost a century the ACLU has defended our Constitution in the courts. Recently, they coupled those legal efforts with PeoplePower, a grassroots movement to galvanize meaningful policy change at both the local and national levels.
This idea inspired many of the nation’s craft brewers to create their own interpretation of People Power Beer, in support of the ACLU and their essential work. Over 80 breweries nationwide have pledge to create their own People Power Beer, with 10% of proceeds going to the ACLU, which is working to make voting accessible to all in every state.
