Portage Brewing Triple Berry Dreamsicle Release

We’re super excited to share this project with you. A few weeks back, we set out to strictly use whole ingredients (like fruit) in our process – because the best form of any ingredient in our experience, are the ones found closest to their origin. For a few reasons, pre-made flavorings, extracts, and purees, which are zipping around our industry right now, just aren’t cutting it for us. From processing, to adding it into our recipes, to tasting it along the way – the use of whole fruit is just one step in our process, that while requiring more time and energy to integrate, allows us to uniquely add layers of complexity into our end products.

So with that, we’d like to introduce Triple Berry Dreamsicle. This milkshake IPA was brewed with one pound per gallon of whole strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries – alongside pounds of vanilla beans, coconut, Belma hops, and lactose. The resulting beer pops with a fragrant and somewhat tart aroma of fruit smoothy – pouring in a deep purple haze. Refreshing, with layers of fun and complementing flavors throughout. 7% ABV.
