Pryes Brewing Hop Harvest IPA Release Party

Using locally grown and freshly picked hops, we’re proud to present Hop Harvest IPA.

Pryes Harvested Hops:
For this year’s Hop Harvest IPA, we wanted to showcase locally grown hops. We picked the hops ourselves at Country Bitters/ St Croix Hops (only 1 hour away) and the Longfellow Community Hop Garden. After we returned to the brewery, the fresh hops were added directly into the kettle.

Locally Grown Hops:
To create a WET/Fresh hop flavor, we utilized “that day” picked Centennial hops. This provided an intense citrus aroma with pronounced lemon flavor. We also used tons of late addition Cashmere Hops which created complex fruity flavors, featuring overtones of lemon, lime, peach, melon and grapefruit. Lastly, we added Comet Hops to provide a dank, resinous flavor to unite all the hops.

Tapping Party
Join us in the taproom on Saturday, October 6th at 2pm for the release of next beer from our Small Batch Series. We’re super excited to share this fruity, resinous and complex IPA created from locally sourced Fresh hops. Every year we will create a different flavor experience through locally grown hops. Cheers to our friends from Longfellow’s very own Community Hop Garden and Country Bitters/ St Croix Hops.
