Help bring a piece of history back to the lake as we Raise the Woof for the Klondike Dog Derby at Unmapped Brewing Co.!
Catch one of two presentations (3 & 5:30 p.m.) from Minnetonka Senior High School Alum and world-renowned sled dog racer, Brent Sass (Wild and Free Mushing)— now a two-time champion of the 1000+ mile endurance sled dog race, the Yukon Quest! After Brent’s 5:30 talk, hang around for a Q&A with Brent, local mushers, and sled dog veterinarians.
Other event highlights include huskies to hug, mushers to meet, free kids activities from 2 – 5 p.m., silent and live auction, food truck, limited edition Klondike pint glasses for $10 — with the first 350 sold receiving two free beer tickets — and much more!
Free event, donations welcome. All proceeds from Raise the Woof will benefit the February 2020 Lake Minnetonka Klondike Dog Derby, as well as our two partner organizations, Can Do Canines and Adopt A Husky Minnesota.
