Slay Day 2019

The party: Surly HeatSlayer is brewed for the summer swelter. This year, it also kills winter dead. Join us for the wake at our second annual Slay Day, where we celebrate the release of our kölsch-style ale from 11 am to 4 pm on Sunday, April 7th. Rain or shine or sleet or snow or, maybe, just maybe, the sun. We’ve been inside for six months. Let’s have a beer.

The deal: $15 for all the HeatSlayer you care to drink in our Beer Garden, served in our freshly redesigned 12 oz. cans. (If you want a different kind of beer we’ll have our full menu inside, but those will be at regular price.) We’ll have summer games set up outside, grilling stations, a DJ, basically the whole outdoor party vibe you’ve missed out on since winter broke us in half. Get outside, wear your best Sorel/Tommy Bahama or parka/shorts combo, and join us the Beer Garden.

The beer: As noted, HeatSlayer is a crisp, refreshing kölsch-style ale. The hit of last year’s summer variety pack, it is our April-June quarterly release. Find it at Slay Day and in six-packs/on draft wherever Surly is sold.
