Soundset Verse Contest + Ticket Giveaway

Fair State Co-op is the craft beer sponsor for this year’s Soundset 2019 festival! Soundset is the Twin Cities’ biggest music festival, and one of the country’s biggest hip-hop and R&B festivals. For the past 11 years, Soundset has been showcasing the best in hip hop music, both nationally and locally.

We’ve long admired the community the folks at Rhymesayers have created and we jumped at the opportunity to be part of it as a sponsor–and we have four tickets to give away, with two different ways to win.

FIRST…
Ready to put your lyrical skills to the test? We have a contest just for you, and winners will get VIP tickets. We’re asking you to rework a verse from a 2019 Soundset artist (full lineup here: https://soundsetfestival.com/lineup) so that it features Fair State beer, cooperatives, and/or Northeast culture. Show us what you got! Submit your typed verse to [email protected] with the subject line “Soundset contest entry” to be entered to win. Deadline for entry is May 22 at noon.

Note! We will have two winners: one Fair State Co-op MEMBER winner, and one general public winner.

Come read your verse at the taproom at 7pm on May 23 for MAJOR bonus points. (If you’re not able to make it in person, not to worry, our MC will read your verse for you.) Our extremely official panel of judges will award two winning verses with VIP Soundset tickets at 9pm.

SECOND…
Been meaning to become a member? Sign up to be a member in person at the taproom or online (https://fairstate.shop/shop/individualmembership) from now until May 23 to be automatically entered to win a pair of GA Soundset tickets. We’ll be playing a Soundset artist playlist throughout the event, and we’ll announce the winners at 9PM sharp.
