What Would Bri Do? She Would Build a Grief Lodge!

BriAnna Kruzel passed away unexpectedly at the age of 18 on September 28, 2013 of unknown causes. She spent her life volunteering and giving back to her community. WWBD was established to carry out her legacy by giving back to those that were dear to her.

WWBD has awarded almost $50,000 to those in need since she passed away. Their biggest blessing has been placing the Angel of Hope in Sartell to help those grieving the loss of a loved one.

BriAnna’s parents recently visited a grief lodge where they spent time with others who tragically lost a child. The lodge offered discussions, meditation, massage, crafts, meals, campfires and so much more. They left this weekend with the sense of hope in their grief journey and gaining friends for a lifetime. WWBD has now committed to bringing a similar concept to Central MN allowing WWBD to “establish resources to help individuals cope with loss, support their healing, nurture their physical and emotional well-being and bring hope to their future”. The lodge will have programming for different types of loss. Some we are considering are child, spouse, parent, teen, suicide and perinatal.
