The Twin Ports collaboration brew day happened at Hoops Brewing on March 8, International Women’s Day, led by Melissa Rainville from Hoops Brewing and Allyson Rolph of Earth Rider.

The dry hopped red ale we created features a special YCH HOPs blend exclusive to this project (Palisade, Simcoe, Mosaic, Citra and Loral hops). Hoops brews are numbered, not named. We named it “1920” in honor of the year women got the right to vote.

The beer is a collaborative local effort to help elevate the profile of women’s roles in the beer industry. The Pink Boots Society will receive $1 from each pint sold of this collaboration brew, which will be applied to national educational scholarships for women in the beer industry.
