Welcome Back Neighbors: High Bridge Opening Deal + Beer Release

Sunday is the official reopening of the High Bridge on Smith Avenue. To welcome back our neighbors from the other side of the river we are offering $1 off full beers for the day.

We are also releasing a brand new beer made with our friends at Pajarito STP. ‘West 7th Wit’ is a is a Belgian Wheat beer brewed with a hint of tamarind and lime, ingredients Pajarito enjoys cooking with. We wanted to brew a beer with a neighboring business to celebrate the wonderful area we are lucky enough to be in.

Details on the Bridge Opening Ceremony

MnDOT and local partners are hosting a celebration from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2 to recognize the reopening of the High Bridge.

The event will feature a brief ribbon cutting followed by a short, festive winter walk to a local business to celebrate. All are welcome to attend. Details are as follows:
· Ribbon cutting — 1-2 p.m., south end of High Bridge
· Winter walk — 2-2:30 p.m., south end of High Bridge to Capital View Café
· Community celebration — 2-4 p.m., Capital View Café, 637 South Smith Ave., St. Paul. Doors will open at 2 p.m.
