Wild Mind Ales Punk Tacos

PUNK TACOS // For this fruited IPA we paired the notoriously herbal and cordial-esque blackcurrant with the also herbal and floral Mosaic and Pacifica hops.

4.4 pounds per barrel of hops, and 336 pounds of blackcurrant present with an incredible richness and depth of flavor. The acidity of the fruit brightens the herbal characteristics and brings a sharpness to the palate, while a drying finish leaves the tannic impression of red wine. Lactose was not added to this beer because we want a more pure expression between the fruit and hops that were used.
