We are pleased to announce that Saint Paul’s very own Women’s Advocates is going to be our next featured R.A.K (Random Act of Kindness) Recipient.
Please join us on Saturday, August 3rd from Noon-10p as we drink a beer and do some good for the Women’s Advocates
– $1 of every pint of beer sold goes to charity
– $1 of every R.A.K. sold (Ask your Beertender for R.A.K. details)
It’s that easy and enjoying a charitable beer never tasted so good!
Cheers!
Women’s Advocates was the first shelter in the nation for women and their children escaping domestic violence when they were formed as a collective-based nonprofit in 1972. Today, Women’s Advocates provides shelter and services to an average of 50 women and children daily, conducts crisis interventions and safety referrals via the crisis line daily, and educates students and professionals about domestic abuse awareness, prevention and services.
Women’s Advocates mission is to eliminate violence in the lives of women, children and families with a vision to have a society free from violence where all individuals and families are safe and can live productive and healthy lives.
Women’s Advocates will have volunteers on site during the day to hand out information and answer any questions that you may have about this wonderful organization.
